Project Delivery Method Discussed

The TSBC met on January 22nd to review and discuss two possible project delivery methods: Design/Bid/Build (D/B/B) and Construction Manager at Risk (CM-R). The Owner’s Project Manager presented a list of positives and negatives for each option, case studies for each method, and potential cost implications of each choice. Members of the TSBC, after a lengthy and detailed discussion, voted to proceed with the Construction Manager at Risk delivery method and continue the discussion at the next meeting.

The Architect also presented updated progress renderings of the new school building, including some early interior spaces. The renderings are still under development and more detail will be released in the coming weeks.

The full presentation can be viewed on the Documents page.
The next TSBC meeting is scheduled for February 12th at 5pm. More information can be found on the Meetings & Events page.
