“Voters Say No to New Tisbury School Project”

With high voter turnout and after years of planning and debate, Tisbury voters narrowly turned down a $46.6 million project to build a new town elementary school at the town election Tuesday, sending school leaders back to the drawing board.

The vote was 546 in favor and 566 opposed to exclude the debt from Proposition 2 1/2. (read more)
