The project continues to make progress, remaining on budget and within the established Master Schedule. Currently, all earth retaining systems (i.e., Secant Pile Walls, and Soldier Piles and Lagging) are in place and bulk excavation has begun for the foundation systems for the new addition. Once excavation reaches the required subgrade design elevations, footings and wall forms will be set, steel reinforcing bar will be placed and tied, concrete will follow – completing the foundation wall systems. Interior demolition and abatement are complete, new subflooring substrate is being installed and seismic structural upgrades and blocking work are in progress within the 1929 building. West field grading operations continue in tandem with bulk excavation operations at the East Field.

Please Note: Occasionally during the first two weeks of May, street work will be happening on Spring Street while utility connections are brought into the site. Prior to start of this work, the construction manager will provide advanced notification to the school leadership and staff.
