Progress continues for the renovation and construction of the 1929 and 1995 Buildings and Gym Addition. Site work has restarted in the West Field with removal of excess soils, along with play area installation and final grading work. At the start of summer recess, the construction manager will begin dismantling the temporary school campus and prepare the portable classroom modules for shipping. Temporary School Infrastructure removal will begin following the removal of the classroom structures. Once the below ground infrastructure has been removed, East Field construction will begin. The Tisbury School has been accepted into the Eversource Electric Vehicle (EV) Grant Program, allowing for 10 EV chargers to be installed in the school parking lot for teacher and community use. Additionally, we have launched the engineering and design work for a rooftop solar array. Procurement and installation work will follow the finalization of the engineering and design. The installed solar array will help to offset the operational costs of the buildings.
