Existing gymnasium demolition has begun; the super-structure will be completely razed just before the
Thanksgiving break. Debris separation and removal operations will take approximately three weeks following demolition and is scheduled to be complete by mid-December. Final abatement of the existing school building is scheduled to begin the first week in December. Move management of the existing school into the new temporary campus took place ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Tisbury was granted special circumstance buy the State of Massachusetts, allowing the school to close on 11/21 and 11/22 (days to be made up at years end) to facilitate move out and into temporary campus. November 28th marked the first full day of school for students and teachers & staff in the new Temporary Campus.
