The Tisbury School Addition and Renovation Project continues to progress within the established schedule. We are wrapping up the foundation work – the large gym addition foundations are 90% complete and the footings for the administration addition are currently being formed. The foundations will be completed within the next few weeks. Structural steel shipments will begin arriving before the end of the month and steel erection will commence following the July 4th holiday. The remaining furniture, files, and supplies have been relocated to off-site storage facilities, and the demolition of the white house will begin following the July 4th holiday. Interior structural modifications to the existing steel superstructure in the 1929 building has been completed. Interior new plywood sub-flooring underlayment will be completed before the end of the month. New roof installation on the 1929 building is complete, and all additional roofing materials for the remainder of the project are on site.
