- The Tisbury School Building Committee is formed with nine members, representing the Tisbury Board of Selectmen (one member), Tisbury School Committee (one member), Tisbury School (3 members) and four members from the community at large.
- Committee meetings begin on June 6. Rachel Orr is voted by the committee as chairperson, Reade Milne as vice-chairperson and Alice Robinson as recording secretary.
- Meeting dates are set for 5:00 PM on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at the Emergency Facilities Building lower level meeting room. Changes in date, time or location will be posted at the Town Hall at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
- Discussions begin on creating the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for an Owner’s Project Manager (OPM), as required by law, in cooperation with Jay Grande, Chief Procurement Officer for the Town of Tisbury.
