Architect Selection

  • Three responses to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for an Architect/Designer opened. Interview questions developed and interviews scheduled for respondents:
    • Turowski2 Architects
    • Arrowstreet
    • Tappé Architects
  •  Interviews of Architect/Designer candidates took place in the Kathrine Cornell Theater. 
  • Tisbury School Building Committee voted to approve Tappé Architects as the preferred firm.
    • A presentation was made to a joint meeting of the Board of Selectmen and the Tisbury School Committee. A unanimous vote approved the selection of Tappé Architects.
  • Building Committee member Alice Robinson resigns and is replaced by Sean DeBettencourt as the Tisbury School Grades 5-8 representative on the committee.
